About Me

Why am I so confident I can help you?  Because I have been in your shoes

I wasn’t always doing what I do now.  I spent 20 years in corporate advertising, slowly but surely getting myself exhausted and terribly sick.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with not one but two autoimmune diseases – Rheumatoid Arthritis and Guillain Barre Syndrome, which forced me to spend 6 weeks in the hospital, completely paralysed from the waist down. While I thankfully recovered and regained control of my body, Rheumatoid Arthritis is a life-long condition with (currently) no ‘cure’. Medications to manage the symptoms are available, but they are very aggressive and come with a long list of nasty side-effects.  And they only ‘manage symptoms’, they do not truly address root causes, i.e. what made you sick in the first place.

After my diagnosis, I went down the only route that was presented to me – I took the medications I was given.  But I wasn’t getting any better.

I was always exhausted.  Everything was a struggle.  I felt frustrated, powerless and very worried about my long-term health prospects.  And I could feel my struggles weren’t just physical.  Mentally, my mind was slower, less able to focus on my life, my family & my work.

I was in so much pain that holding hands with my children hurt. My little boy used to ask me whether he was squeezing my hand too hard.

And he was barely even touching it…

I wanted more from my life.  expected more.

But as time passed, I was getting worse and more disabled.

The long but successful path to health and wellbeing

It was only end of 2015 that, following the advice of a nutritionist, I discovered The Wahls’ Protocol from Dr Wahls. Whilst the book was giving me hope, the changes required felt incredibly challenging.  But trying to keep it simple, one weekend, I decided to cook the types of food recommended in the book.

And it was literally life-changing.  This had an immediate effect on my pain levels.  From that point I knew that nutrition and self-care held the key to my health and wellbeing. This was the way forward for me.

Ant yet, I felt totally overwhelmed by the changes I had to make to my life and my diet.  Getting healthy and staying healthy has since been a long journey. Like everyone, I have good days and bad days.

The road to recovery didn’t stop there.

Initially, I had a huge amount of vitality and energy.  But sadly things became quite challenging again after 2020 and my health took a downturn again.

The stress of the pandemic coupled with the challenges of raising a young family whilst managing a chronic condition took its toll.

I explored many different type of therapies, but deep down, I knew that I need to do some work on my emotional and mental health.  I had read the books, listened to the lectures and the experts, I felt my nervous system was stuck in sympathetic mode – i.e. always on, unable to relax and create the conditions I needed to heal.  Basically, I wasn’t coping with stress.

And guess what, stress is always a prominent feature in all my clients who suffered from long-term health conditions.

Fast forward a few more years and I discovered the organisation One of Many and decided to train as one of their certified coaches.  The initial intention was to equip myself with tools I could use for my clients, to support them with their stress on their healing journey.

Little did I realise this would take me on my own journey of addressing my stress.

It was transformational.  It was more powerful than I could even imagine.

My diagnosis changed my life in many ways. And I am grateful that I have been able to train with some of the most inspirational and forward thinking organisations when it comes to health, wellbeing and empowerment. I’ve become a holistic health coach with IIN,  I am a certified Autoimmune Paleo coach, a functional medicine practitioner with the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM), a certified One of Many women’s coach and I am also now trauma-informed.

I am also now a leader with SAFM, supporting new functional medicine practitioners during their studies.

Today, I have 1 mission:

Provide targeted support to ambitious women struck by long-term conditions such as autoimmunity, fibromyalgia, endometriosis and chronic fatigue, so they can find their path to health again, thrive and avoid dropping out of the workplace, which is often what happens.

In order to do so, I combine empowerment and mindset coaching with health coaching and functional medicine principles to help clients just like you to:

  • Reduce stress on their body, mind and soul to foster performance and create a healing environment
  • Optimise physical health, such as digestion and hormonal balance, which are so often at play with many of these long-term conditions
  • Reduce pain and inflammation which can be so debilitating and can dramatically reduce quality of life

Together, we understand what is stopping you from thriving, both personally and professionally.

We do this by changing your behaviours and mindset so you get to achieve effective and long-lasting results.

Now, I want to help YOU feel well again. And I want to help you thrive.  And achieve your wildest dreams.

In fact, I want to help you feel better than you ever did!

Because I know it’s possible.

Believe me when I say this.

Your body is strong and your mind has the ability to make you heal and thrive.

So please know that you do not have to accept life as it is and believe that nothing can be changed.

It’s simple, but it’s not easy.

So let me hold your hand – I promise I won’t squeeze it too hard!

When you work with me, we go at your pace, you are always in the driving seat.  I’m the navigator if you will, I hold the map for you.

I give you the tools and the accountability you need to make powerful changes to your life so you get to thrive.

You will be empowered. And I can tell you that’s just exhilarating.

Are you ready to make a commitment to yourself?

Work with me, and I’m with you every step of the way, sharing my knowledge, my skills, and my personal experience.

A little bit more about me

I am French and moved to London in 1996.  After a university degree, a few jobs in advertising, a house purchase, a Scottish husband and 2 London-born children, it’s safe to say I’m pretty settled here and I and finally became British in 2022. I absolutely love London – it’s such a vibrant and multi-cultural city! Although I would love it even more if it was a bit sunnier (Vitamin D is crucial after all!).
