What is health coaching

As a health coach, I support my clients in making major lifestyle changes.  There are not short-term changes for short-term results.  My clients create new habits, that will serve them for life.

I use classic and proven coaching techniques.  Coaching focuses on empowering clients to take responsibility for their own health.  My clients work with me to establish achievable goals, adapted to the their life circumstances.  As the coaching programme progresses, this usually amounts to a complete overhaul, which is only successful as it is is implemented step by step.  As a health coach, I have a distinct role in that I focus on behavioural changes, to achieve profound and long-lasting well-being.

How are the programmes designed

 

Each programme will be designed to suit your needs and life circumstances. I recommend a minimum of 3 months.  However I offer a one-off health history and a 6-week Reset programme.

We start with a detailed health history session (up to 90’). It is followed by fortnightly 50’ sessions. For the renew package, I offer to run one of these sessions as a “Kitchen Overhaul”.  This helps set you up for success in the kitchen.

Why I recommend a minimum of 3 months

Regular sessions are essential as they allow for a staggered approach, ensuring all new habits are well established.  And it also allows time to address setbacks.  Often these can happen during holidays or other life events.
